Nine sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P120,000 were confiscated following a buy-bust operation at Purok Kabugwason in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City yesterday morning.

Authorities identified the arrested suspects as 50-year-old Jose Guzman Jr. alias “Jose” of Block 12, Lot 28; 26-year-old Guila Golez of Block 16, Lot 31; and 25-year-old Ronald Pelowa alias “Toktok” of Block 35, Lot 2, all of Purok Kabugwason.

Personnel of the Bacolod City Police Office City Drug Enforcement Unit and Station Drug Enforcement Team of Police Station 7 also recovered P1,000 buy-bust money, two pouches and other drug paraphernalia from the suspects.

The suspects were detained at the Police Station 7. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./WDJ
