Two persons were arrested in drug buy-bust operation at Centerville, located in Silay City’s Barangay 5 on Monday afternoon, October 12.

Police Major Rollie Pondevilla, acting chief of Silay City Police Station, identified the suspects as 33-year-old Joseph Villones and 35-year-old John Patrick Golez, residents of the city’s Barangay 5.

Police confiscated six heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu weighing six grams and valued at around P40,800; P3,000 in buy-bust money; and other drug paraphernalia.

The suspects were detained at the Silay City Police Station and charged in violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
