A female drug suspect from Bacolod City was arrested following a buy-bust operation at Purok 11, Taytay Tanate in Himamaylan City’s Barangay Aguisan around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. 

Himamaylan City police OIC chief, Police Major Romeo Vargas, identified the suspect as 46-year-old Wilma Satur of Purok Kagaykay, Barangay 2, Bacolod City.

The suspect yielded four heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu, including a buy-bust item, valued at P3,400 and P500 buy-bust money.

Police also confiscated a cellphone containing text messages of the suspect’s alleged drug transactions.

The suspect was detained at the Himamaylan City Police Station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
