How the habit of trust transforms your life? Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path,” in other version “He will make straight your paths.” In this time of pandemic we need to trust the Lord, our God. We cannot rely on our own strength, nor on others.
However, human as we are we rely on our own strength, in people whom we trust 100 percent because we are loyal and it seems they are our savior in times of crisis and in need. But the worst thing is that most often than not the person we trust are often the one who betrays us and it is very, very frustrating when you can experience this kind of behavior. Most often than not a person is just a user, he will use you to his own convenience and comfort, he doesn’t care and is not concerned about your predicament. As long as you are useful he will continue to abuse the situation and before you know it, it’s too late for you to recover. He is using you to his advantage.
The best thing to do even in your respective career path or even in your business endeavor is do not rely on people. You must only rely your future to the Almighty, nothing less, nothing more. Because even in our professional career we perform well on our job but your boss is naive and his only concern is his own personal interest, nothing will happen. You are like building your house on the sand. Expectation is very far from reality, it’s just a lip service as if he is doing what is best for you, but the sad truth is he is apathetic, no concern whatsoever, he will drop you like a hot potato. He is only concerned with his personal dealings and not with the things beneficial to you.
Like in the government service, most of them don’t have the passion for work. In fact in this time of pandemic they are very secured that even if they don’t go to work they are paid as long as they can justify they are working from home. And the government has no way of checking if indeed a particular employee is really working at home or just being justified by his boss, but in reality he is just staying at home, at the comfort of his abode doing nothing. The people’s money are wasted in this kind of set up. These kind of employees, even before the pandemic, are bad eggs of the organization.
Some of them are useless. They are in the government service because their sibling is in a position who can recommend them. The only weapon is passing the civil service exam, however this is not a guarantee that a person can perform well in the government service. A sad reality indeed, we will entrust again to God to judge this people. KARMA is universal. In due time it will come and if it comes, it will have a big impact. However if a person is callous, he or she can’t feel it and will continue doing the wrong thing. Sometimes fools are at the same side. Let us be vigilant and learn from experience.
Life is simple and peaceful when we come to God like little children and say, “God, I don’t want to live on my own. I want to trust You. When I don’t know what to do, I’ll trust You. When I don’t understand why, I’ll trust you. I’ll do my part with Your help, and when I’m done, I’ll trust You to do the rest./WDJ
