The Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) announced over the weekend that they will temporarily suspend their emergency services beginning 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6, until 6:00 a.m. on October 8.
In an advisory signed by CLMMRH head, Dr. Julius Drilon, the hospital’s emergency room will undergo thorough terminal cleaning and disinfection.
The hospital’s emergency area will also undergo rehabilitation which includes fixing the electrical, mechanical and air conditioner units.
The hospital will also reposition its beds in the emergency room in order to accommodate more patients for isolation.
A new and expanded triage area will also be set up to allow better facilitation of the patient’s needs.
Drilon also stated even though the hospital is closed for emergency services, they will continue catering and admitting patients but will be limited to “extreme emergency case” only./DGB, WDJ
