Three employees of the provincial government of Negros Occidental have been terminated from government service for alleged irregularities on their Daily Time Records.
Terminated were lawyers Ernie Magaspag and Roxenne Sumanting and book binder Warlito Butalon, all of whom are from the Provincial Legal Office (PLO).
Provincial Legal Officer Alberto Nellas Jr. said they can file motions for reconsideration or an appeal before the Civil Service Commission regional office.
“The grounds are based on substantial evidence that they committed serious dishonesty and falsification of an official document, their DTR,” Nellas pointed out.
Magaspag and Butalon have denied the allegations lodged against them.
The 60-day suspension of lawyer Ariel Cuaycong has ended and he has been reinstated to the PLO but the hearing of a similar complaint against him will continue, Nellas said.
Provincial Budget Officer Jose Percival Salado Jr., Mambukal Resort head Ellen Marie Jalandoni and Ma. Mina Pellejo, former Negros Occidental Comprehensive Health Program Division officer-in-charge, have been assigned to the Negros Occidental Economic Enterprise Development Department pending resolution of administrative cases lodged against them, he said./DGB, WDJ
