After testing negative for the coronavirus disease, or Covid-19, Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson is now back to work at the provincial capitol Monday morning.

Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, provincial administrator, said that Lacson and 34 of his staff at the Office of the Governor were swabbed last Sunday and the results were released later that evening.
However, four others, including a body guard and server, tested positive, Diaz added.
Two of them are assigned at the Governor’s Office, one from the Provincial Health Office and another from another department.
The governor and his staff went on self-isolation from September 4 after a utility worker at his office tested positive for Covid19.
Second tests will have to be conducted on nine employees who underwent reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction tests last Sunday because the results appeared to be borderline, Diaz said./DGB, WDJ
