Tan said Lacson and his staff, including her, were tested at the grounds of the North Wing of the Capitol Building.

She added that the governor is doing well physically.

“He is not positive, so technically the term asymptomatic will not apply to him,” she pointed out.

Provincial administrator,Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, in a separate interview said that results of the swab tests are expected to be released later.

The specimens were brought to the Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital molecular laboratory in Silay City, Diaz said.

He added that the opening of the Office of the Governor will depend on the results of the swab tests.

A utility worker who is a job order casual has not been reporting from work in the past four days after he got some symptoms of the virus infection and that he was made to undergo the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction test and his positive result came out at 4:00a.m. on Friday.
