The offices of the Vice Governor and provincial board were ordered locked down by Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer until September 8 after another technical assistant of a board member was suspected to be positive for the coronavirus disease 2019, or Covid-19.
The two offices will also undergo disinfection, said Renelo Lastierre, head of the Security Office of the provincial capitol.
Lastierre added that the Provincial Health Office is now in the process of contacting the employee’s close contacts.
Despite the lockdown, the administrative section of the provincial board located at the basement is still open to serve the public./DGB, WDJ
