Facing murder chargers, four men were arrested in separate police operations in Negros Occidental’s Candoni town last Wednesday.
Authorities identified the suspects as 60-year-old Vicente Cabalfin of Sitio Banahaw, Barangay Banga; and 39-year-old Aldin Namol, 50-year-old Jonnel Escabarte and 32-year-old Roger Etabag, residents of Barangay Molobolo in Cauayan town.
Candoni Police Station OIC chief, Police Captain Junji Liba, said Cabalfin was nabbed 5:30 a.m. on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 61 dated February 28, 2020.
Later that day, Namol, Escabarte and Etabag were also arrested.
The suspects were detained in the custodial facility of the Candoni Police Station with no bail recommended./WDJ
