In a statement released by Roy, Ricardo Jr., Emily, and Celina Yanson-Lopez – often referred to as the “Yanson 4” – they were able to confirm over the weekend that their mother was rushed to a hospital in Bacolod City and was later airlifted to Manila as she was having difficulty in breathing.

The “Yanson 4” said it was later posted on social media that their mother is being treated at a private hospital and they have no direct communication with her.

They pointed out they only knew about her medical emergency through the postings “no different from everyone else.”

Although the “Yanson 4” are currently locked in a legal battle with their mother over YGBC, they stated that the news deeply saddened them and they had individually sent their personal messages to their mom, hoping it would reach her.

The “Yanson 4” also stated that they wanted to be by their mother’s side but are unable to do so due to the existing travel restrictions.

They have also stated that they will cast their disagreements aside as their main concern is their mother’s current state of health.

They added they are praying that she is able to get past her health issue, and recover from the illness quickly./DGB, WDJ
