A 19-year-old lad facing rape charges was arrested 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Pandan Ville Subdivision, located in Hinigaran town’s Barangay Pilar.

Police identified the suspect as Sean Drixx Morcilla, a resident of the said place.

Police said they served Morcilla’s arrest warrant for the crime of rape issued by Judge Walter Zorilla of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 55 in Himamaylan City dated August 5, 2020.

The suspect was detained at the Hinigaran Police Station. No bailbond was recommended for his temporary liberty./DGB, WDJ
