The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in Bacolod City is again temporarily closing its doors to the public.
In an advisory, BIR Western Visayas director Antonio Jonathan Jaminola said the closure would allow the thorough disinfection of the agency’s premises for four days beginning yesterday.

The City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office is conducting the disinfection.
To recall, on July 17, BIR’s office in the city was shut down after one visiting client turned out positive for the coronavirus disease 2019.
The office was re-opened three days later after a thorough disinfection of the premises./DGB, WDJ
