The Valladolid District Hospital in Negros Occidental’s Valladolid town was temporarily closed last week after four of their medical staff tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019, or Covid-19.

Based on information released through Facebook by the municipal government of Valladolid, the group comprises of one doctor, one nurse and two nursing attendants.

Provincial Administrator, Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, meanwhile said the test results of the four were released last Wednesday, August 26.

Diaz said the doctor was asymptomatic and had been placed on a strict home quarantine. However, the three others were admitted to separate hospitals for treatment.

The hospital was immediately disinfected and had returned operations last Friday./DGB, WDJ
