Eleven sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P408,000 were seized in a buy-bust operation at Purok Mapalarun, located in Talisay City’s Barangay Zone 12, on Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities identified the suspect as 29-year-old Raymund Horario alias “Pirot,” a resident of Purok Ipil-Ipil in Silay City’s Barangay Mambulac but temporarily residing in Talisay City.

Joint forces of the Talisay City and Silay City police stations staged the operation and confiscated 11 big sachets of suspected shabu, including a buy-bust item, weighing 60 grams; and P3,500 in buy-bust money.

The suspect was detained at the Talisay City Police Station and facing charges in violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
