Negrense middle blocker Leo Priolo Ordiales will continue to wear the blue and gold colors of National University (NU) for college after committing to the school’s men’s volleyball team.
The Talisay City, Negros Occidental-native confirmed to Rising Volley PH Facebook page his commitment with the Bulldogs after his one-and-done stint with NU’s boys volleyball team.
“I am staying with NU for college kasi maganda ‘yung [volleyball] program sa pag training at maganda din [‘yung] academics nila,” said the six-foot-three Negrense middle blocker.
Ordiales was a former standout from Living Stones International School in Bacolod City and has represented Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association in the Palarong Pambansa.
Last year, Ordiales was recruited to play for the Edgar Barroga-mentored NU Bullpups and won UAAP Season 82 juniors basketball. He also played with the school as Philippines representatives in ASEAN School Games.
Aside from Ordiales, other members of the Bullpups team that have decided to commit to the Bulldogs were two-time UAAP Finals MVP Mac Arvin Bandiola, Michael Fortuna, Clarenz Belostrino and Jvon Clint Berdin.
The Dante Alinsunurin-mentored Bulldogs have also acquired the services of six-foot-three middle blocker Kharylle Parce from the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Altas./ASC, WDJ
