An estimated P13,600 worth of suspected shabu was recovered in a buy-bust operation at Barangay Central Tabao in Negros Occidental’s Valladolid town on Saturday, August 22.

Valladolid police identified the suspect as 55-year-old Pelomer Gegonia.

Police confiscated six plastic sachets of suspected shabu, P500 in buy-bust money and a pouch.

The suspect is now detained at the Valladolid Police Station, facing charges in violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
