Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson has appointed Francis Velez as his executive secretary following the resignation of Dr. Jonathan Lobaton.

In a statement released by the governor yesterday morning, he said Lobaton cited personal reasons for resigning from his Capitol post.

He previously held the rank of Executive Assistant IV like Velez.

Meanwhile, Zeaphard Gerhart Caelian, head of the Provincial Disaster Management Program Division, takes over as new COVID-19 Provincial Incident Management Team commander, after the resignation of Lobaton./DGB, WDJ
