Two men were arrested during a buy-bust operation around 1:00 p.m. on Monday at Jalandoni Ville, located in Silay City’s Barangay Lantad

Taken to Silay City Police Station were Gen Jimenea and 40-year-old Louebel Besana, both residents of Barangay Lantad.

Police confiscated nine heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu worth P61,200; P4,000 in buy-bust money; drug paraphernalia; P146 cash; and a motorcycle.

The suspects are facing charges in violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
