A man was slashed by his cousin Saturday evening at Sitio Candida in Binalbagan’s Barangay Bi-ao. Authorities identified the victim as 44-year-old Bernardo Carlos Regino, who sustained hack wounds to his arm and neck.

According to police, the victim cautioned his nephew not to roam around during curfew, which irked the nephew’s father, his cousin, 44-year-old Frank Semillano Regino. The suspect reportedly grabbed a cane cutter and slashed the victim.

The victim sought treatment at the Binalbagan Infirmary while the assailant fled the scene. Police are currently conducting a manhunt against the suspect./WDJ
