The developmental team for the Philippine men’s national football team, the Azkals, announced they will be competing in the upcoming Philippines Football League (PFL), which is tentatively scheduled to kick off on April 18.
“This is one of the answers to the clamor to improve our players before they get into the senior team,” Azkals team manager Dan Palami explained to Fox Sports.
The team, which is managed by Goran Milojević, includes Jarvey Gayoso, Curt Dizon, Marvin Angeles, Elias Mordal, Anthony Pinthus, Edison Suerti, Mar Diano, and Kristofer Reyes.
Green Archers United earlier announced they would not be participating in the upcoming PFL after consultations with sponsors and failure to secure necessary media coverage./ASC, WDJ
