Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia and Department of Public Services head Nelson Sedillo recently observed the ongoing clean-up at South Hills Academy in the city’s Barangay Alijis, which will serve as a quarantine center for persons under monitoring. The facility, which consists of 17 rooms, is expected to be operational within the week.
The mayor thanked Monet Lacson for offering the facility.
Meanwhile, a separate quarantine facility for persons under investigation is currently being prepared at the West Negros School of Nursing, located beside the Queen of Mercy Specialty Hospital in Eroreco.
Both centers were recommended by the Covid-19 Technical Working Group. (PR)
