The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) recently issued a public advisory where they announced the temporary suspension of services across the country.

The advisory noted, frontline services, such as the processing of requests for various documents, will be closed until April 14. In addition, document application services with local government units and SM Business Centers will also be suspended.

Meanwhile, online applications for civil registry documents were also closed.

PSA said the changes were made due to the enhanced community quarantine declared over Luzon, along with the imposition of stringent social distancing measures./WDJ
