A man fell into a waterway earlier this week in Barangay Rizal Pala-Pala, located in Iloilo City’s City Proper district. Authorities identified the victim as 20-year-old Joey Enriquez of the said neighborhood.

According to police, he had been drinking with friends when he fell.

He was eventually rescued and brought to the West Visayas State University Medical Center, where he is currently confined./WDJ
