Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson led yesterday’s inauguration of the Victorias Integrated Livestock Raisers Association (VILRA) meat shop and processing center in Victorias City’s Barangay III. The facility will allow for association members to sell their wares, which the provincial government says will “generate more income.”
The governor called on VILRA members to unite and work together, and hoped the project grows.
Also present for the event were Victorias City Mayor Francis Palanca; Provincial Board Members Andrew Montelibano and Manuel Frederick Ko; Negros Occidental Association of Barangay Captains President Juvy Pepillo, who sits on the Provincial Board; Negros Occidental Provincial Veterinary Office head, Dr. Renante Decena; among others./WDJ
