Victim struck while running across the street

A two-year-old boy was killed on Monday after he was run over by a truck at Sitio Ulalod in Kabankalan City’s Barangay Oringao. Authorities identified the fatality as Christian Andre Emperado.
According to police, the boy immediately ran across the street after getting off a jeepney with his aunt when he was struck by an oncoming truck driven by 32-year-old Franklin Amorganda of Bais City’s Barangay Tamisu.
The minor died on the spot due to head and body injuries.
Amorganda is currently detained at the Kabankalan City Police Station./WDJ
