Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives intercepted and seized about 100 grams of suspected shabu last Saturday at the Bacolod-Silay airport cargo warehouse in Silay City.
PDEA-Negros Occidental Chief Nicholas Gomez said a PDEA K9 interdiction unit was conducting random paneling at the warehouse when a narcotic detection dog sensed the suspected shabu, which was being sent through a courier service.
The confiscated suspected shabu has an estimated market value of P680,000.
Meanwhile, pending follow-up operations, Gomez withheld the names of the parcel consignee./DGB, WDJ
