Makati faces Manila in decider tonight

After the Makati Super Crunch tied up their 2019/2020 Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League Lakan Cup semifinal series with Manila Stars, scoring a 75-59 win last Wednesday at the San Andres Sports Complex in Manila, the two will meet in a decider tonight.
The game begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan City.
The winner of the series will meet the San Juan Knights, who advanced to the Northern Division finals after scoring a 91-83 victory over the Pampanga Giant Lanterns.
John Wilson led the win with 26 points, six rebounds, five assists, and five steals; while Jhonard Clarito chipped in 14 points, four rebounds, and four steals; Carlos Isit added 13 points, four assists, and four rebounds; and Mike Ayonayon finished with 13 markers.
Holding to a slim five-point edge midway in the fourth quarter, Isit pumped scored three-pointer to spark an 11-3 blast and paved the way for San Juan to establish an 86-73 advantage. Despite Dexter Maiquez narrowing Pampanga’s deficit to eight, Wilson replied with two freebies to close the series.
Maiquez finished with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and two assists for Pampanga; while Levi Hernandez chipped in 17 points; and Mark Cruz added six points and eight assists./ASC, WDJ
