Two people were killed early yesterday morning after a motorcycle crashed at Bangga Scala in Bacolod City’s Barangay Estefania. Police identified one of the fatalities as motorcyclist Jolyn Amihan, while their backrider remains unidentified as of press time.
Police Station 4 (PS4) traffic investigators said Amihan was following a vehicle when the latter executed a turn at the said location. The motorcyclist was believed to be driving too fast and struck the rear of the vehicle, causing it to hit a tricycle.
Amihan and his backrider were both thrown from the motorcycle and struck a railing.
The motorcyclist was declared dead on the spot, while the backrider was rushed to the hospital. However, reports claim they later died in transit./DGB, WDJ
