A street-level drug target was arrested yesterday morning following a buy-bust operation at Purok Kabugwason in Bacolod City’s Barangay Mansilingan. Police identified the arrested as 26-year-old Elester ‘Lester’ Palmes, a resident of the said area.
Based on a report issued by Police Station 2 (PS2), Palmes was under police surveillance and placed on their drugs watchlist. PS2 anti-drug operatives immediately arrested Palmes after he sold one sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer in exchange for P500.
A follow-up search yielded three medium and one big sachet of suspected shabu with a market value of P32,000.
