A farmer was shot dead Monday by a still-unidentified assailant in Alimodian’s Barangay Ingwan. Authorities identified the fatality as Regenel Torre, a resident of the said neighborhood, who died at Aleosan District Hospital of a gunshot wound to the stomach.

According to police, the incident occurred at 9:00 p.m. while the victim was walking home.
