Mary Angeline Alcantara of Living Stones International School recently scored her fifth consecutive gold medal in the junior women’s bantamweight division during the 2020 Smart/MVP Sports Foundation/PLDT Home Ultera National Carlos Palanca, Jr. Taekwondo Championships at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall in Pasay City.
Other recent winners included Joshua Emmanuel Deita winning silver in the lightweight category, Francesse Kaye Nualda taking silver in the cadet girls’ bantamweight competition, and Dondy Santillan capturing bronze in the grade school boys’ finweight division./ASC, WDJ
