A man conducting collections for a local lending firm was robbed last Thursday while on duty at Sitio Overflow in Sipalay City’s Barangay Maricalum. Police identified the victim as 26-year-old Reynaldo Fabillar.
Investigations by the Sipalay City Police Station found, while the victim was conducting collections, he was approached by two unidentified men. One is described as being around 5’6” in height, medium build, and wearing a grey jacket, black helmet, and maong pants; while the other was wearing a blue jacket, maong pants, and a helmet.
The pair declared a hold-up and, with one of the suspects pointing a revolver at the victim, stole P7,500 in collection money, the victim’s service motorcycle, and a mobile phone worth P1,000.
The two fled on separate motorcycles towards Sipalay City proper.
The Sipalay City Police Station continues to conduct an investigation into the possible identity of the suspects./DGB, WDJ
