Premier Volleyball League team Philippine Army Lady Troopers defeated the University of St. La Salle last weekend in the 1st Mayor Neil Lizares III Volleyball Exhibition Game at the Talisay City gym.
The PVL team included opposite hitter Jovelyn Gonzaga of Guimaras and Ilongga outside hitter Nerissa Bautista, along with Mary Jean Balse, Honey Royce Tubino, Tin Ago, and Jem Guttierez.
Meanwhile, prior to the match, a team representing Talisay City defeated a Negrense side in a preliminary game.
