Leonardia: City remains free of Covid-19
By Dominique Gabriel G. Bañaga

After the Negros Occidental provincial government earlier revealed the final patient under investigation for coronavirus disease, or Covid-19, tested negative, the Bacolod City Inter-Agency Task Force Against the Novel Coronavirus yesterday announced there are currently five patients under monitoring.
During a press conference yesterday, the task force reported the five had previously traveled to areas covered by the government’s ongoing travel ban.
City Health Office Environmental Sanitation Division head, Dr. Grace Tan, said the individuals in question have been placed on home quarantine and are being monitored by their respective barangay health emergency rescue teams.
The said team will also monitor those scheduled to arrive from the Covid-19-affected areas in the coming days.
Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia, meanwhile, said the city remains free of Covid-19 with no patients under investigation at city hospitals./DGB, WDJ
