After Negros Occidental Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer, who typically presides over the Provincial Board, earlier said the local legislative body planned to hold sessions in the different localities across the province, he recently announced the first visit will be to San Carlos City.
The vice governor said such sessions will be held once a month.
Meanwhile, towards the end of last month, Ferrer said board members would take turns presiding over sessions. Last Tuesday, Board Member Araceli Somosa held the post.
“I am here and, if there is [an] urgent matter, I can participate with the discussion any time,” Ferrer asserted./DGB, WDJ
