The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) recently reminded the public to be wary of scams.

“We encourage the public to be aware, be cautious, and report illegal transactions not only of those who are impersonating or posing as PCSO employees but also employees who do irregular activities,” explained PCSO General Manager Royina M. Garma. “Go to PCSO offices or branch offices for face-to-face official transactions—do not transact outside or over the phone/text.”

The agency affirmed, by transacting directly at PCSO offices and branch offices, beneficiaries will be complying by the “right processes.” They noted, the same applies for those seeking medical assistance.

Additionally, low-income clientele seeking to submit various forms can do so online at pcso.gov.ph.

Meanwhile, Garma discussed PCSO’s “Ipaalam Kay GM” initiative, which allows the public to access the general manager for comments, suggestions, and feedback. (PR)
