One person died, while two others were injured, after a motorcycle and pick-up truck collided last Tuesday in Pototan’s Barangay Pulot-an. Authorities identified the fatality as 25-year-old motorcyclist Lifedin Pari-an of Mina’s Barangay Tumay; while his backriders, 18-year-old Renhniel Resano and 30-year-old Jenwill Camiro, both of the town’s Barangay Catoogan, were injured and rushed to Iloilo Provincial Hospital for treatment.

The group reportedly crashed into a pick-up truck being driven by 39-year-old Richard Causing of Ajuy’s Barangay Espinosa.

The driver is currently detained at the Pototan Police Station and faces vehicular manslaughter charges, along with physical injury./WDJ
