A suspected drug offender was nabbed last Monday at the corner of Rizal-Cortez Streets in Pontevedra’s Barangay Poblacion 3. Authorities identified the suspect as 42-year-old Ramy Villanueva Inson of Valladolid’s Barangay Poblacion Proper.

Pontevedra Municipal Police Station chief, Police Captain Rhojn Darell Nigos, said five sachets of suspected shabu valued at P6,000, P500 in buy-bust money, one mobile phone, and P400 in cash proceeds were confiscated from the suspect.

Inson is currently detained at the Pontevedra Municipal Police Station and faces charges in violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
