Driver may have been asleep at the wheel

A woman died last Monday after crashing her car into a concrete fence last Monday in Barangay Tabucan, located in Iloilo City’s Mandurriao district. Authorities identified the fatality as Chelsea Alba Espinosa of Roxas City, Capiz who was temporarily residing at the Monticello Villas in Pavia, Iloilo.

According to police, the incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. as she was reportedly driving from the Molo district to Mandurriao.

The driver succumbed to her injuries at the Western Visayas Medical Center.

Espinosa was a member of the band Tyrant.

Law enforcement officials believe she may have been asleep at the wheel./WDJ
