CDEU operation in Banago yields P18K worth of shabu

A street-level drug target was arrested early yesterday morning after members of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) conducted a buy-bust operation in Bacolod City’s Barangay Banago. Police identified the arrested as 27-year-old Niko Villan, a resident of Talisay City.
Based on a report issued by CDEU, the operation, which was led by Bacolod City Police Office director, Police Colonel Henry Biñas, yielded eight sachets of suspected shabu with a combined weight of 1.5 grams and valued at P18,000.
Police also seized P500 in buy-bust money, along with a coin pouch.
Villan faces illegal drugs charges and is detained at Police Station 3./DGB, WDJ
