Negros Occidental sweeps two volleyball divisions

Negros Occidental won both the secondary boys’ and tertiary men’s volleyball competitions during the 2020 Western Visayas Private Schools’ Athletic Association (WVPRISAA) Meet, which came to a close in Capiz. The secondary boys’ team, which was represented by Living Stones International School, won after scoring a 25-20, 12-25, 25-16, 25-20 win over Iloilo; while the tertiary side also won with a victory over Iloilo, pulling off a 24-26, 25-21, 25-19, 26-24 triumph.
Emman Colango, Rhodson Du-ot, Jerry Mar Estardo, James Japitana, Eladio Jayawon, John Ledesma, John Montano, Christian Oyco, Cliff Pacenio, Hilary Praico, Christian Reyes, Jian Matthew Salarzon, Jeric Sendon, and Lhester Villa were among the players on the secondary boys’ roster.
Meanwhile, Iloilo, represented by Central Philippine University, won the tertiary women’s event with a 13-25, 25-16, 22-25, 25-12, 15-13 win over Negros Occidental./ASC, WDJ
