A Silay City drug offender was arrested Monday afternoon at Purok Ipil-Ipil in the city’s Barangay Mambulac. Authorities identified the suspect as 42-year-old John Alba Villa (alias ‘Barkley’), a resident of the said neighborhood.
Silay City Police Station officer-in-charge, Police Major Rollie Pondevilla, said law enforcement officers confiscated 11 sachets of suspected shabu, weighing around six grams, and valued at P90,000; alongside P3,500 in buy-bust money; P500 in “subscribe money;” and other drug paraphernalia.
Villa is currently detained at the Silay City Police Station on charges in violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
