A 45-year-old farmer was shot dead Tuesday in Sara’s Barangay Albayog. Authorities identified the victim as Renante Toting of the town’s Barangay Improgo, who died at Sara District Hospital from gunshot wounds across his body.
According to police, the incident occurred at 12:50 p.m. as he was walking when he was approached by riding-in-tandem suspects who opened fire.
Police are still looking into the identities of the suspects and a motive behind the killing./WDJ
