Rain or Shine Elasto Painters shooting guard James Yap said he is giving himself at least two more PBA seasons before considering retirement. The Escalante City native recently told CNN Philippines, he will assess himself after that period.
Should I announce my retirement, I will be ready because I have investments),” he explained.
The two-time PBA MVP awardee also discussed having less playing time with the Painters.
I don’t have that feeling, as a star, the coach should have me play because of what I have achieved in the PBA; whatever is given to me, I will work),” Yap said. “Basta ako, kailangan ready lang ako palagi, kailangan mayroon akong ico-contribute every time (I am always ready every time they need my contribution).”/ASC, WDJ
