Three individuals were arrested late Monday evening after Police Station 2 (PS2) anti-drug operatives conducted a buy-bust operation in Bacolod City’s Barangay Vista Alegre. Police identified the arrested as Roberto “Bobong” Cerillo, a resident of Progreso Village in the said barangay; along with Choe Demerin and Jan Rey Pabon, both residents of Barangay Robles in La Castellana.
PS2 commander, Police Major Sherlock Gabana, said the main target of the operation was Cerillo as he is listed as a “street-level drug target.”
Police confiscated five sachets of suspected shabu valued at P40,000; two P100 bills which were used as buy-bust money; suspected drug money amounting to P300; and drug paraphernalia.
The three face illegal drugs charges and are presently detained at PS2./DGB, WDJ
