Philippine Army 303rd Infantry Brigade (303IB) commander, Army Colonel Inocencio Pasaporte, visited troops of the 62nd Infantry Battalion (62IB) in Isabela’s Barangay Libas over the weekend. He was welcomed with the traditional military honors and received by 62IB commander, Lt. Colonel Egberto Dacoscos, together with his battalion staff.
Pasaporte assumed the post of brigade commander last December and had previously served as deputy brigade commander.
In a short talk to the troops, he expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome extended to him and commended the unit’s accomplishments in their area of operations.
The military official also encouraged troops to “keep up the good work” and maintain their high standard of professionalism, particularly in accomplishing the unit’s mission.
Pasaporte also urged troops to give their full support to the efforts of local government units in their area, as well as continuing coordination and collaboration in the “whole of nation approach” by providing basic services to the local community, particularly those under insurgent influence./DGB, WDJ
