The Negros Occidental National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) provincial and city qualifiers are set to begin this weekend, February 1, in Sagay City. The competition was initially scheduled to begin this weekend but, according to local NBTC commissioner Benny Lachica, it was changed for “work reasons.”
The teams set to compete in the qualifiers are Bacolod City leg champions Bacolod Tay Tung High School, San Carlos City leg winners Tañon College, and Silay-Sagay leg victors MDM Sagay College Inc.
The winner advances to the NBTC regional qualifiers in Aklan, which are scheduled to begin in the third week of February.
