CPU, Iloilo Selection win futsal titles

Central Philippine University (CPU) and the Iloilo Selection recently won the 1st Dinagyang Futsal Invitational Championship at the Jaro covered gym in Iloilo City. CPU won the men’s division following a 7-5 win over Cabatuan, while the team representing Iloilo won the women’s side and Barotac Nuevo finished in second place.
The winning teams each won P10,000, while the runners-up each took home P7,000.
Also competing in the event were the Western Institute of Technology, Janiuay Defenders Football Club Inc., Jalandoni National High School, and Iloilo Science and Technology University.
