Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia and Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran recently led the ribbon-cutting and turnover of a P5 million covered court to Vista Alegre–Granada Relocation Elementary School.
The mayor urged teachers and pupils to take good care of the structure in order for future generations to use it.
The 813-square meter structure is considered one of the biggest for an elementary school in the city.
Also present for the ceremony were City Councilors Israel Salanga, Bartolome Orola, and Ana Marie Palermo; Barangay Vista Alegre Captain Jose Maria Leandro Norberto de Leon; Department of Education-Region VI (DepEd-6) Director Ma.
